Unmanned Life has been selected by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and the Hong Kong Government as one of the top five most innovative Deep Tech companies in EMEA

Unmanned Life has been selected by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and the Government of Hong Kong as one of the top five most innovative Deep Tech companies in all of the EMEA region through the JumpStarter 2020 competition, amongst thousands of entries across EMEA.

Our CEO had the opportunity to meet with some of the senior executives from the Alibaba Group in London this week and others as judges for the competition, likeCindy Chow, Executive Director at Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund; David Beer, Commercial Director of Fintech Alliance;Jayne Chan Head of StartmeupHK, InvestHK;and  Michael Zhu, Managing Partner of Gobi Partners.

In February 2020, Unmanned Life will be on-stage in front the Alibaba Group and the tech influencers and government officials in Hong Kong at the global finals of the JumpStarter 2020 competition. We were the only startup in the entire competition focused on Autonomy-as-a-Service technology. Alibaba recognises our unique capabilities and its applicability in supply chain, logistics and other sectors.

Unmanned Life is focused on the Asian market. Hong Kong is one of Asia’s economic and financial powerhouses with strengths in world-class education, professional services, and international trade. It is also home to over 2,600 start-ups, which have created over 9,500 jobs. Over 80 percent of Alibaba’s new business accounts in Hong Kong are for start-ups with less than three-years of operations. Our CEO was just in Singapore at the “APAC 5G World Series Conference” where he gave a keynote presentation on, ”How is 5G relevant for connected smart cities and autonomous economy”.All this is part of our strategy to continue to expand in Asia.
