08 Nov Unmanned Life continues its strategy to expand in Asia by attending SWITCH in Singapore
The Sinit’sre FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) come together as SFF x SWITCH to synergise across the themes of FinTech and Deep Tech. As a deep tech company growing in the 5G space, it’s important to showcase our unique 5G Autonomy as-a-Service Platform. And Singapore is an important city due to its growing technology ecosystem. According to Enterprise Singapore’s Startup and Global Innovation Alliance (GIA), Singapore ranked among the top 12 startup ecosystems globally. In 2015, 220 venture capital deals worth more than $1 billion were completed, compared to 26 deals worth $80 million in 2013.
Our CEO Kumardev Chatterjee will discuss the key role that could be performed by our software platform in the development of Autonomous services for Industry 4.0 across multiple sectors. Industries and governments like the one in Singapore are realising how Autonomy-as-a-Service, i.e. AtaS could have a significant impact in driving Industry 4.0 visions to reality, and that we are at the core of this disruption enabled by 5G & AI. We have implemented three significant pillars of industry 4.0: autonomous logistics, autonomous smart factories and autonomous infrastructure inspections all over 5G with great success. And, according to Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Singapore plans to roll out four commercial 5G networks in 2020, and by the end of 2022, expects to have at least 50% of the city-state covered with a standalone network. That’s great news for our autonomous applications and use cases such as emergency response operations, surveillance and inspections that will work faster and more efficiently over 5G.
We are focused on working with 5G because it has the potential to support millions of devices at ultrafast speeds, but also because it has the potential to transform the lives of people around the world. We know that with 5G’s low latency and high broadband, our autonomous applications will be able to have more of a powerful impact on the many verticals like Supply Chain that has had tremendous growth in the past years. A strong industrial partnership ecosystem is fundamental to achieve sustained growth and to position over the long-term.
