Unmanned Life is the world’s first fully cloud based software-driven platform enabling an autonomous fleet of integrated drones and ground vehicles, aimed at disrupting logistics and other human-labour heavy industries.
We enable the 4th Industrial Revolution by replacing heavily human-centric operations at the heart of large industrial sectors such as logistics, postal, surveillance, construction, shipping, oil and gas, aid and entertainment with its fully software-driven autonomous fleet of drones and ground vehicles, known as Autonomous Drone-based Services Platform (ADBS) which enable to run those operations much more efficiently and at a significantly lowered cost.
Our CEO has designed the British rail software architecture and air traffic management architecture for Europe’s single-european-sky project, SESAR. He also has a long history in mutli-million euro automated transport vertical – ground, rail and air projects, and large scale architectures and cloud-based software and systems at THALES, one of Europe’s biggest multinational, global engineering firms where he worked for almost ten years. We know how to design large scale, complex, automated platforms, software, hardware and autonomous systems. Our COO has a long background in regulatory affairs at the European level (European Parliament, French Government to the EU) and strategic partnerships at the international level (GSMA Mobile World Congress, BNP Paribas, US State Department).
We are at a crucial moment in human history, at the brink of the 4th industrial revolution. Since industrialisation began with the steam engine era in the 18th century, there have been two further major waves: electricity and communications in the 19th century, the invention of the internal combustion engine and internet in the 20th century. The 21st century is harbringer of a whole new era, the start of the 4th industrial revolution: the era of data as fuel, automation as infrastructure and autonomous robots as service platforms using that fuel and infrastructure.
The technological boundaries are being pushed further everyday. With every revolution, there are winners and losers and the 4th Industrial revolution is particularly unkind to traditional large industrial sectors, such as logistics, postal, surveillance, construction, shipping, oil and gas, aid and entertainment amongst others which are still human intensive, particularly for their core operations. These industrial giants are ripe for disruption. They are acutely aware of it and are taking well-funded steps to leverage data, automation and robots to be fit for a new era.
With our Autonomous Drone-Based Services (ADBS) platform, Unmanned Life’s vision is to drive this disruptive change, and our go-to-market strategy is to work hand-in-hand with the major industrial behemoths in these large multi-billion dollar industrial sectors to enable the 4th industrial revolution.
We have disruptively innovative solutions at the right moment, a team with a distinctive track-record, and, support and backing from global technology giants and world-leading investors, enabling us to work directly with the most significant industrial players.
It’s that moment in our personal history, when all the pieces of the puzzle have come together for us, the founders, after years of recognised activity in the technology and innovation world in Europe.
We have chosen to launch, build and grow our company in Europe. This is not a random choice, it’s a rational decision and a belief in the promise of Europe. Europe has several competitive advantages to perform well in the 4th industrial revolution and we are prepared to make it happen right here.
We are in the process of launching our services in two massive industrial sectors for the largest actors of those sectors in the second half of this year.
These are stealth projects, on explicit request of these major customers.
Currently therefore we are very selective in our communications, for e.g. we do Not communicate with journalists, publicists or pr agents.
