Unmanned Life at MWC19: Unleashing the potential of our AI for Autonomy Software Platform

The annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) extravaganza flags off in Barcelona today and will be the latest iteration of what is arguably the biggest smartphone focused conference globally. As per usual, Unmanned Life and its world’s first and only AI for Autonomy software platform will be present at this event in partnership with Deutsche Telekom, to unleash the potentials of 5G in front of the world’s most exclusive mobile experts.

This event held each year at the Mobile World Capital Barcelona sets the industry standard for mobile innovation and is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry top experts. The event also features extensive learning opportunities from dozens of partner-led programmes, GSMA seminars, summits and more. This year’s main topic is all about bringing a new era of intelligent connectivity. The main topic for this year’s edition is the 5G wireless network technology, which will dominate most of the talks and conferences. This next generation network standard arrives this year, and MWC should give carriers a platform to tell the world more about their launch plans.

With its unique and ground-breaking technology, Unmanned Life was chosen by Deutsche Telekom, one of the world’s largest telco operator, to join forces with only one aim: Pushing the boundaries of 5G applications. The AI-driven Autonomy-as-a-Service platform offered by Unmanned Life enables the integration of drones of different types along with capabilities to work together as robust autonomous fleets with the use of multiple networks, including the 5G, making its participation crucial to this year’s congress. Major telecom companies’ operators are racing to bring 5G to consumers and society in general. This joint partnership will have benefits for both parties, given that Unmanned Life will gain greater visibility and attractivity by participating in the MWC’19 in cooperation with one of the main 5G network providers. On the other hand, Deutsche Telekom will gain more expertise from Unmanned Life’s unique platform on subjects such as AI and the 5G use cases.

With a market projected to reach $70 billion by 2020, artificial intelligence will be at the heart of the discussion at this year’s event. Unmanned Life along with other AI-driven companies will explore the potential of AI and its impacts on our lives. Also, another relevant topic for this year’s edition is Industry 4.0. In this context, Unmanned Life and Deutsche Telekom will be analysing the implementation and wider impact of the confluence of IOT, cyber-physical systems, cloud and cognitive computing that constitutes Industry 4.0.  In fact, Unmanned Life will have great input on this matter, given that our CTO, Kim Clement was invited to talk in the DT IoT workshop as an expert of AI and 5G networks. Having the opportunity to discuss at the MWC is a confirmation that our technology is quite unique in terms of capabilities, use cases and benefits. Our AI for Autonomy platform generates a significant interest among this trailblazing tech community of disruptors and is perceived as game changer in the Telco sector.

As part of this exclusive event, Unmanned Life’s team will also have the chance to connect and discuss its unique technology with a community of likeminded disruptors and other strategic partners, in accordance with the firm’s objective to gain exposure in the Telco industry and strengthen its position as the pioneer of 5g and AI for Autonomy. Unmanned Life is backed by the UK government and the Department of International Trade, which enables the firm to have an extensive agenda, mainly consisting of pitching our capabilities in front of a large panel of VCs, potential clients and other institutional authorities.

The team has also been invited to some of the most exclusive events and keynotes presented by the world’s most influential CEOs and global tech influencers. Those events are also about connecting to likeminded peers and creating meaningful relationships. In this case, Unmanned Life’s team has been invited to private networking receptions organized by the world’s most reputable tech firms. including the Samsung NEXT Founders reception and an exclusive KPMG reception at the Camp Nou stadium

Once again, Unmanned Life is in the position to prove to a large panel of experts and tech enthusiasts that our world’s first Autonomy-as-a-Service software platform will be a key enabler to the 4th Industrial Revolution. We could not be more relevant to this year’s edition with our unique SaaS on the Edge platform, given that a large number of tech leaders and influencers are looking forward to hearing about the ways our AI and 5G use cases would shape the Telco industry to create the so-called industry 4.0.

MWC 2019 is here and we are looking forward to sharing with you all the exclusive insights! Stay tuned for more updates.
