Celebrating 2021 with highlights of the year
Learn the Past and Create the future!
With 2022 rapidly approaching, the planning of new strategies and business goals are being set in place. But before we look ahead, it is important to pause for a moment and reflect on how far we have come along in the last year.
This year has been exceptionally pleasing as we officially closed our seed investment round, marked our entry in the Canadian market which is one of the fastest growing automation markets in the World and delivered a successful demonstration for leading telecom industries like TELUS, BT, Telefonica, Etisalat and Magenta Telekom.
Let us say it has been nothing less of an elevated journey with inclines and minor descents on the way. From appointment of new Management team to getting the right mix of people who complement and influence our business operations, we have managed it all.
Next year is going to be even bigger, better, and more exciting but first, let us take a deeper look into 2021.
What did we achieve?
At the end of every year, it is important to recognise the meritorious and outstanding achievements that had a lasting impact on our company and clients.
2021 was a year of positive news and changes for Unmanned Life and its business operations. With a fast-growing company like Unmanned Life, people should anticipate and be prepared for change, for a company that can’t adapt, and seize growth opportunities will eventually disappear. In 2021, Unmanned Life has not only tripled in size but has also focused on sustainability, international markets, and strategic partnership.
International Market and Partners: 2021 marks our entry point in Canada with the leading Telekom company-TELUS where we highlighted our drone-based computer vision capabilities. With partners like BT, Telefonica, and Etisalat, 2022 is only going to be bigger and better.
Closing Investment Round: This year We announced the closing of our investment round led by Canada’s TELUS Ventures and Telefónica Wayra. Other main investors include Venionaire Capital, Jota2 Group, motec ventures, and Alpere Capital.
New Management: The success of an organisation depends on good leadership. And this year we welcomed a new management team, that believed in the ability to empower others, motivate them, solve problems, and ensure overall success and satisfaction.
New Office in Barcelona: Unmanned Life officially announced the opening of its technology hub in Barcelona to address the European market. At a meeting with Catalan Minister of Business and Labor Roger Torrent Ramió in London, our CEO Nicholas Zylberglajt sealed the partnership that will see the opening of our office in Barcelona.
TRIPLED In Size: What started as an 8 staffed company has now tripled in size with a total of 25 members. Echoing diversity and inclusion these 25 members come from 12 different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. Next year we aim to double this number and create more employment opportunities.
New Branding: When it comes to new things and changes, we relaunched this year with new logos and a new website. Unmanned Life now has a simpler, fresher, and more distinctive style that represents our mission and purpose. While this is a significant change, we remain steadfast in our dedication to our principles, stakeholders, clients, and core beliefs.
Teamwork is the key enabler for a high-performance work culture, and at Unmanned Life we thrive on respect and collaboration. Together Everyone Achieves More. It is a time of holidays and festivities and from Unmanned life’s family to yours, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year ahead!
