• New Interface Launch: This year, we launched our new and improved interface, featuring a fresher look and feel. Packed with new and robust features, it will allow operators to safely use the platform in commercial settings.
• U-Security Launch: We proudly introduced our first product, U-Security—a cutting-edge drone-in-a-box security solution designed for robust autonomous surveillance missions. After a successful product launch in the Barcelona lab, U-Security is already making waves in the industry.
• Pioneering Multi-Robotics Mission: Unmanned Life achieved a significant milestone by successfully conducting a pioneering multi-robotic autonomous mission. By combining the forces of a heterogenous robotic arm, Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), and drone, we demonstrated the power of the platform in creating autonomous teams, regardless of the robotic vendor.
• Open Gateway initiative: We were selected by Telefonica to join the Open Gateway Early Adopter program, in collaboration with AWS, to trial Telefonica´s mobile QoD API.

In such a complex environment, there is real strength in partnerships and we´re proud to working with many of the top players in the industry, including Telefonica, TELUS, AWS, Microsoft, Liberty Global and Cisco. . Here are some of the highlights of 2023:

• Transforming Port Security at Antwerp: Unmanned Life deployed U-Security at the port of Antwerp – Europe's second largest port. Collaborating with industry giants AWS and Liberty Global (Telenet), we proved security measures by launching autonomous drone-swarm missions. Leveraging AWS' Snowball Edge for intrusion detection AI , and a 5G sliced network, , we showed how the combination of drones, cellular networks, and edge compute can provide a powerful combination for protection of large facilities.
• Life-Saving Operations in Ecuador: U-Security marked a significant impact in Ecuador by serving as a comprehensive solution for search and rescue operations. Our drones are actively being used to seamlessly respond to emergency situations, whilst operating over a cellular network. This deployment showcased the versatility and reliability of U-Security in critical situations, ensuring rapid responses and aiding in life-saving missions across challenging terrains.
• Enabling Utilities Security in Europe: Partnering with a major utilities company in Europe, Unmanned Life introduced U-Security equipped with a dedicated autonomous docking station for an end-to-end, commercial deployment. Operating over a secure, private network, our solution has revolutionised security measures in the industrial environment. This collaboration underscores the adaptability of our technology in safeguarding critical infrastructure, providing unparalleled surveillance and threat detection capabilities.

We became official members of GSMA this year and have begun playing an active role in several of the industry working groups.

These acknowledgements underscore our unwavering commitment to innovation, fuelling our drive to redefine the boundaries of autonomous technology.
